  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Cooking spray or extra butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Add the marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt, if using.
  5. Gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, pressing it down evenly with a spatula or buttered hands.
  7. Let cool for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes
