  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

For the Berry Filling:

  • 3 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Crumble Topping:

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9-inch (or similar-sized) baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine the berries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Toss until the berries are evenly coated. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pour in the melted butter and stir until a crumbly texture forms.
  • Evenly spread the crumble topping over the berry filling.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the berry mixture is bubbling.
  • Allow the crumble to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

  • Dietary Adjustments: To make this gluten-free, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free flour blend. For a dairy-free option, use coconut oil or a plant-based butter alternative.
